The sensors are connected to the wireless mesh network via the Smart Driver or the Advanced Load Controller, or independently via the Amatis Border Router and our proprietary 6LoWireless protocol. When connected, the sensors can detect occupancy and vacancy (motion), available daylight, temperature and humidity levels within the sensing areas.
Sensors
The Amatis system has two sensor options that enable controls for motion, light, temperature and humidity (MLTH) monitoring. Sensor1 is a standalone device that does not require a driver or controller to communicate with the 6LoWireless mesh network. Sensor2 connects to the Smart Driver or the Advanced Load Controller via the included RJ12 cable leveraging their on-board 6LoWireless communication, enabling the same MLTH features.
